Research Direction and Topics

Waterfowl industry is one of the most important traditional livestock and poultry industries in China, which has made a great contribution to the supply of meat and eggs for people. Scientific research on waterfowl nutrition and feed science provides technical support for the stable development of waterfowl industry. In the future, our team will combine the major needs of the waterfowl industry to make significant innovations and breakthroughs in waterfowl precision nutrition, intestinal health, green breeding, feed efficient utilization, new feed products development and other technologies under the guide of green health, and improved quality and efficiency providing urgent technical support for the intensive, modernized, green, automated and zero-emission development of waterfowl industry in China.

Topic 1: Research on nutrigenomics and mechanism of waterfowl nutrition regulation metabolism

Study the molecular mechanism of nutrients, such as amino acids, vitamins, fatty acids, etc., regulating waterfowl muscle development and fat metabolism.

Topic 2: Research and application of green breeding and feed processing control for waterfowl

Research on precise nutritional parameters of waterfowl under different breeding modesand new feed formulation technology and application with efficient utilization and low emission.

Topic 3: Functional feed additives product development and utilization of waterfowl

Carrying out research on the development and utilization of functional feed additives targeting the healthy breeding of waterfowl to promote the healthy development of waterfowl industry.
