Ruminant Nutrition and Feed Team

Focus on the research on the theory and application of nutrition regulation in ruminants, and innovated the technology system for regulating the nutrition of young ruminants; focus on the methane regulation and green.house gas emission reduction technologies for ruminants, and established the first database of methane emission factor and estimation model for dairy cows in China; focus on the establishment of nutrition requirements and feed database of meat sheep, and developed the first "Nutrient Requirements for Meat Sheep" in China based on animal experiments.
