Research Direction and Topics

The innovation team of feed processing creatively combined the nutrition and processing characteristics of raw materials to form the subject group of feed processing-nutrition metabolism regulation. Research on the improvement and innovation of feed processing technology for livestock, poultry and aquatic animals, the development and application of new protein resources related to processing characteristics of raw material, feeding and metabolic regulation mechanism. Research and development of new technologies for feed efficient processing, raw materials efficient utilization and feed production process control, construction of the digital system of precision nutrition and fine processing, and realization the efficient utilization of feed nutritional value, energy saving and consumption reduction of feed production. To ensure the quality and safety of feed products with technology, which provides continuous technical support for feed processing technology and efficient production management in China.

Topic 1: The Basic Research of Feed Precision Processing

Research on processing and forming suitability of raw material and mixing feed, and feed precision processing and management technology.

Topic 2: Research on Improvement and Innovation of Feed Processing Technology

Research on the efficient utilization pretreatment technology of feed raw materials, preserving processing technology of functional activities, effect of key parameters of feed processing on product quality and energy consumption, high efficiency and energy saving technology in key process of feed Processing, and development of new technology and equipment.

Topic 3: Development and Application of New Protein Resources

Research on development of new non-grain protein resources, the processing suitability, feeding regulation and nutritional metabolism regulation mechanism after replacing fish meal and soybean by cottonseed protein concentrate, gas fermented bacterial protein and algae protein in animal feed, and explore new ways of sustainable development of protein resources.
