LI Xilong

Chief Scientist

Xilong LI, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, is recruited talent of the “Elite Youth Program” of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and currently is the Full Professor in the Feed Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Prof. Li graduated from the College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine of Huazhong Agricultural University in 2003, studied for the Master degree in the China Agricultural University from 2003 to 2006, and studied for the Ph.D. degree in the Texas A&M University from 2007 to 2011. After obtaining the Ph.D. degree, he entered the Baylor Medical College for Postdoctoral research. In 2015, he was recruited as the "Elite Youth Program" by the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At present, he has published more than 30 scientific articles in the international journals, presided over and participated in many projects including National Natural Fund Projects, National Key R&D Projects, Beijing Natural Fund Projects, and Key R&D Projects and Innovation Projects funded of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
