Zhigang Zhou, Professor, Ph.D, Ph.D Supervisor. He was selected as the talent of “Entrepreneurship and innovation plan" of Jiangsu Province, "National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars", the editorial board member of “Acta Hydrobiologica Sinica”, the young communication expert in the field of agriculture of “Engineering”, the main journal of the series of academic journals of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the editorial board member of “Aquaculture”, which is the top journal of aquaculture field. He is also the editor of "Frontier in Microbiology" and "Frontier in Marine Sciences" in the field of “Symbiotic Microorganism” . He is the principal investigator of more than 20 projects, including the “National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China” , , the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973 project, and International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchange Project, etc.. The research results have won the second prize of Fujian Province Technical Invention, the First prize of “Future Cup” of China Aquaculture Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award, the first prize of DaBeiNong Science and Technology Achievement Award, and the 21st China Excellent Patent Award. He was awarded 27 authorized invention patents, with 5 patents transferred. He has published more than 100 SCI papers and edited 4 books, including 3 books in English.
